Possibility Chapter 3

Tonight is the night. I'm gunna tell him. We were all at the mall for hours just goofing off. I looked over at Jason and Melissa and they were holding hands. I smiled and asked Vin, "Did you talk to Jason?" "Nope, I guess he finally asked her out," "Aw, they're so cute. I wish I had a boyfriend." "Me too," he said and smiled. I bursted out laughing. He looked confused for a second and started laughing too. "Girlfriend! I wish I had a girlfriend!" I laughed some more, "I know what you meant, Vin," and smiled.

We were all getting ready to go when I saw Megan. "Hold up, guys! I'm gunna go say hey to my friend," I ran up to her and gave her a hug. "Hey!" she said. "I was gunna text you!" she said.  I laughed. "Oh my gosh. You know Nick Mara right?" "Yeah, why?" I replied. "He is so hot!" she squealed. "I know, he's one of my friends but he's always checking out girls, he kinda seems like a player," I told her. She sighed, "Yeah I guess," "But hey! You just might be that lucky girl," "Yeah right," I shrugged and smiled. "Alright I gotta go, everyone's waiting to say goodbye," I said and started walking away but then she stopped me and said, "You better make a move with Vinny," "I will! Tonight," She smiled big and I ran back to everyone and hugged them goodbye.

"Ready to go?" asked Vin. "Yeah! Let's get going," He lived really close to the mall so it was walking distance. He opened  the front door for me and we walked in. "Hi, dear!" Mrs.Castronovo said and hugged me. Bianca came running around the corner and asked, "Who's here?" she looked over at me and screamed, "Riana!" and squeezed me. "Hey, Bi, where's Al?" "She's out with some friends," Vinny and I went upstairs into his room and I sat on the bed. "Your dad's not home?" I asked. "No, he's still over at Albivi's. Should I ask him to bring over some pizza?" he asked and smiled. "Yeah!" I nodded, "His pizza is the best," He pulled out his phone, texting his dad I assumed.

It was later and we had finished our pizza. We were sitting on the couch watching TV with my head on his shoulder. I'm gunna do it, I'm gunna tell him. He looked down at me and said, "I need your advice on something," I sat up and looked at him, "What is it?" He stared at me for a while and asked, "How do I tell someone how I feel about them?" My heart sank. I was trying to hold back tears with a smile. I opened my mouth to talk and my phone vibrated on the table and he leaned over to hand it to me. I grabbed it and it was a text from Megan.
-Did you tell him!?

I looked at him and said, "I-I gotta go," and got off the couch and put my hair in a messy bun. He looked at me and said, "Right now?" and made a sad face. "Yeah… it was my dad," I lied. He got up from the couch and asked, "Do you want Bianca to drive you?" "Y-yeah," I replied. He grabbed his sweater and handed it to me. I looked at him confused. "You didn't bring a jacket," "Right," I said. He went upstairs and came down with Bianca and she grabbed her keys. "Is it alright if I come?" he asked. "No, no… It's fine," "You sure?" "Yeah," he came and hugged me and I tried not to cry again. I smiled and said, "See you tomorrow," and ran out into the car.

Bianca came in and adjusted her mirrors and started backing out of the driveway. "Hey! So," She looked over at me and tears were streaming down my face. "What's wrong?" "Nothing," "Tell me," she insisted. "It's Vinny, he likes someone else…" "You like Cenzo?" she asked. "I think it's more than 'like' by now…"I told her. "Aw, honey," she said and hugged me with one arm as she drove.

-Vinny's P.O.V-

So close! I was about to tell her! I was pacing back and forth in my bedroom and I threw one of my pillows at the wall. And then another not paying attention where I threw it. It hit a picture off my desk and fell on the floor. "Crap," I muttered and picked it up. It was a picture of me and Riana from last year. I sighed wishing it was a picture of me kissing her cheek instead of putting my arm around her. Instead of putting it on my desk, I put it on my nightstand. I turned off my light and laid down on my bed without changing into sweats and fell asleep above the covers.
